We are revealing It Here
You can earn money from YouTube Videos through the below explained three ways.
1. YouTube Ads- Partner –
YouTube Ads partnership is the real source for earning money from videos. BUT, they will display advertisements on your YouTube videos, only after an approval from both sides.
Two things are mandatory for this approval: The first needed thing is, you must verify your YouTube channel and the second thing is your YouTube channel must have a video with 5000 views.
Now, if you are qualified in both the above sections, apply now for YouTube Partnership. Usually, their review for new account partnerships will take around 1-2 weeks. If approved, they will request you to connect your bank account with YouTube Ads programme for sending money on a monthly basis.
YouTube Ads Types
i). Non-skippable in-stream YouTube ads
Usually, you notice Non-skippable ads in YouTube Channel. Yes, these ads are appearing only because of content creator’s interest (Not YouTube). Non-skippable ads are approximately 15 or 20 seconds in length and the ads are sold on a CPM (Cost Per Thousand), means YouTube will pay you $3-$7 for 1000 views.
ii). Skippable True View Ads
As the name implies, ‘Skip Ad’ option allows the viewers to skip the ads after 30 seconds. The advertisers will pay, only if viewers watch the first thirty seconds ad (or) full ad. In this, case we can’t predict how much you can exactly earn from YouTube-Skippable ads. But, you can get an idea from Socialblade’s YouTube Money calculator Tool.
Bruce Daisley, sales director at YouTube says that ‘True Video Ads’ in YouTube is the best source to earn higher revenue than ‘in-stream Ads.’
In the ‘In stream Ads’ there is no Skip-Ad option. In case, your viewer is not interested in Ads and found no-skippable ads option in your YouTube Video, then he will either close that page or Unsubscribe from your YouTube Channel, if that happens then it would be a loss to you.
iii) Invideo/Overlay Ads
The ad that is appears above the video control section is ‘In-Video/Overlay ads’. Advertiser will pay you, when someone click on that link.
iv)Display Ads
The ad that is appears on the top right side bar of the featured video page is called display ads. As like ‘InVideo’ You will get paid, if someone click on that link.
YouTube Revenue Sharing System
YouTube will take 40-43% of the revenue from advertisers and they will share the rest of the amount to the content creators.

2. Sponsor Advertising
If you are a popular YouTuber, you can easily find Sponsors for making YouTube Videos. There are plenty of filmmakers, now a days adopting this ‘Sponsor Advertising’ method of video creation. Ryan Connolly of YouTube Channel –FilmRiot is creating videos mainly through Sponsor Advertisement.
If you are creating videos with the financial aid of someone’s ‘Sponsor Advertisement,’ then it’s your responsibility to promote your sponsor’s brand through your YouTube Videos. But keep in Mind this thing; don’t ever force your viewers for watching your sponsor’s videos. Just follow a neutral way of storytelling, that’s it!
3. Affiliate Marketing
This method is not exactly useful for filmmakers to earn money through YouTube Videos; also you can expect a less amount through the affiliate marketing programme. Let’s explain about the affiliate marketing very simply; For an instance, you displayed a product of ‘Amazon’ in your YouTube Video, here you will get paid only when someone buys that product, and the amount sum is very less (Probably 1-2% of the product cost). So, we think this (Affiliate Marketing) is not a right option to make money from YouTube Videos.
The above explained are the three main ways that you can earn money from YouTube Videos: In addition to this, the Trendy YouTube videos will make you popular and that is really helpful to you, for getting a chance to work with the mainstream movies

As a benchmark you can expect to make around $1.50/1000 views. So you can earn about $7 for you video with 5000 views.
How does it work?
The basic deal with this is Google Adsense, a nifty little programme that allows you to monetise (we love that word) your website or videos with adverts.
After you’ve signed up with the beast that is YouTube and built a decent amount of followers and views you’ll receive an email asking if you want to monetise your videos. You’ll then be able to select your best videos to make money from.
The basic gist of this is companies pay Google to advertise on your videos and you’ll get a cut of the profit.
Just to be clear, you can’t monetise any videos with copyrighted material in them. So no nicking other people’s stuff y’hear?
What do you need to get started?
Depending on what you’re planning on filming you’ll need to get your setup sorted from the beginning.
There’s no point having good content if you’re filming it on your iPhone. A decent setup goes a long way towards showing that you’re serious and having people respect your videos.
You’ll need:
  • A decent camera – Quality is important and you’ll need to record your videos in full 1080p HD.
  • Video editing software – Both PCs and Macs have pretty decent video editing software (Movie maker & iMovie) but Adobe Premier is a decent option for advanced users.
  • Sound recording equipment – Most cameras come with a microphone but if you’re looking for top sound quality you might need to purchase a decent microphone.
  • Lighting – This is not an essential but some top Youtubers swear by it.
  • A decent backdrop – If you’re filming a vlog or pieces to camera you might want to set up a decent backdrop. You can stick with plain white or jazz it up a bit with a collection of posters for example.
You’re much more likely to build up revenue by getting an audience through constant content, whether you’re making vlogs, cat videos or just talking about custard creams. Try our best and good luck!

With 5000 views, a monetized YouTube channel might generate between $ 3.75 to $ 10 dollars. In average, between 0.75 to 2 dollars per 1000 views, for the average beginning channel. The biggest, most successful, channels might achieve $ 5 to 7.5 dollars per 1000 views.
There are several factors that might change your earnings: the quality/retention of your videos and the subject of your videos (Google tries to match the best banners to your audience, and different advertisers/markets certainly have different pocket sizes to reach their audiences).
Another important factor is the language/region of your videos: the US advertising market generally pays better than, lets say, the Brazilian advertisers. So, a YouTube channel in Brazilian Portuguese might generate less money, for the same amount of views, than an English spoken channel.
YouTube offers a lot of resources for you to learn how to increase the audience, engagement and quality of your channel, be sure to visit:
Also, there are several YouTubers dedicated to share their knowledge on having successful channels on YouTube. One of the best is:
And, finally, there is an infinity of technical challenges to produce good videos - one of the most important is Sound. Good, clear sound helps a lot on keeping people interested in your videos. On my channel "You have an iPad", I have a video about recording quality sound with the Blue Yeti microphone:
I hope it helps you!

First of all, YouTube doesn't really pay for "views" or "subscribers", instead it pays for the advertisements which appear on your videos. Also, not every time you play a video has an advertisement. It depends if any advertiser is bidding at that time. So, it is on the availability of ads.
All your YouTube earnings are visible on your channel's YouTube Analytics. You must connect a Google AdSense account with your YouTube account to claim the money. YouTube pays you through Google AdSense.
Basic steps on how you can Monetise and earn from YouTube shared below:
  1. Enable monetisation of your channel and videos.
  2. Link a Google Adsense account with your YouTube channel. This is important for you to claim the money from YouTube after your videos start making money. Threshold is 100$.
  3. When your videos are published, make sure you have monetisation "on" on them and select all types of ads.
  4. The number of times ads are being served on your videos and the kind of CPM it has decides how much money you make. e.g. 5000 views, but only 1000 monetizeable impressions (1000 times ads were shown and not skipped before 30 seconds). Average CPM is 4$ to 10$ (cost per mille - cost per 1000 impressions). So, you earn around 4$ to 10$ on the given video.
  5. YouTube keeps 45% and gives you 55% of the total earnings. So, your estimated earnings are different from gross earnings. Also, your final earning might differ from estimated earnings.
  6. Also, they have to pay tax too. Which is as per the country/state tax law.
These are the basic steps and factors you need to know. There are more in-depth things to be considered. So, now, you can do the maths and calculate how much you can earn.
More popular the channel gets, more ads Google will serve on their videos. Result: more money they make.

Hi, Full-time YouTuber here.

There is certainly not much money on YouTube. Everyone knows that. But since you want to make some educational videos, it won't fade away soon. And can become a good source of passive income. Provided your content being grade A quality.

Considering the average CPM of $1.5, you will get $7.5 for 5000 views. So if you make some 100 videos and get 5k views each, you will earn around $700 to $1000. It can me more if you partners with YouTube's MCN, sell stuff, ask for donation etc. But for an educational channel, these won't work.

However, if this is your first time (or you won't ask this qs in the first place), then getting 5k views on every video is not going to be easy. It takes time, knowledge and resources.

IMO for edu channels, Content is more important than subs. For instance Khan academy has millions of subs but only get a few thousands of views on most videos. Why? Diversity. So stick with your niche.

[Bummer: the above numbers are useless]

Now, I don't want to discourage you, but here is the truth.

If you are not fully into this YouTube thing, then it's hardly worth the effort i.e. more input less output.

Initially, you will have to put a lot of resources -- time for research, money for equipment etc and you won't get anything in return for couple of months. Unless you have some past experience on YouTube.

Even when you start getting regular checks from Google. It's still not worth the value to put into your channel. (Similar to startups)

Most YouTubers do it because they love what they do, money is second. And even then, they have to ask for patron and sponsorship, just to keep the show running.

Overall IMO, YouTube is not a good platform for full-time money making. But a great place to share knowledge and earn some passive income.
